Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using jackandnikkibartendingco.com or booking services with Jack & Nikki Bartending Co. ("we," "us," or "our"). By submitting an inquiry or booking our services, you agree to these terms.


SERVICES
Jack & Nikki Bartending Co. provides dry-hire private party bartending services in Asheville, NC and surrounding areas within approximately 60 miles. Dry-hire means we provide the bartenders, tools, setup, and service — the client is responsible for purchasing all alcohol.


BOOKING AND DEPOSIT

  • A $50 deposit is required to hold your event date. Your date is not confirmed until the deposit is received.

  • The deposit is fully refundable if you cancel at least 24 hours before your event.

  • The remaining balance is due on the day of your event.


CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Cancellations made at least 24 hours before your event will receive a full refund of the deposit.

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your event are non-refundable. We will have already prepared for and reserved your date exclusively.

  • In the unlikely event we must cancel, you will receive a full refund of any amounts paid.


ALCOHOL RESPONSIBILITY
Jack & Nikki Bartending Co. operates on a dry-hire basis. The client is solely responsible for:

  • Purchasing all alcohol and mixers

  • Ensuring alcohol is legal to serve at the event location

  • Obtaining any required permits (see Permits section below)

  • Ensuring guests are of legal drinking age

  • The responsible consumption of alcohol at the event


We reserve the right to refuse service to any guest who appears intoxicated or is under the age of 21.


PERMITS AND INSURANCE

  • For beer and wine served at a private residence, no permit is typically required under North Carolina law.

  • For liquor served at a private event, the host may be required to obtain a Limited Special Occasion Permit through the NC ABC Commission. This is a $50 online application that must be filed at least 14 days before the event.

  • For events held at a venue, HOA, or commercial property, additional permits or liability insurance may be required. Per-event liability insurance can be added for approximately $60.

  • The client is responsible for ensuring all applicable permits are obtained prior to the event.


TRAVEL FEES

  • Events within 20 miles of Asheville, NC: no travel fee

  • Events 20–40 miles from Asheville, NC: $25 travel fee

  • Events 40–60 miles from Asheville, NC: $50 travel fee

  • We do not currently service events beyond 60 miles from Asheville.


LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Jack & Nikki Bartending Co. is not liable for:

  • Injuries, damages, or losses arising from the consumption of alcohol at your event

  • Actions of guests at your event

  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control including severe weather, medical emergencies, or other force majeure events

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind


Our total liability to you for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid to us for those services.


CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
The client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate event information at the time of booking

  • Ensure a safe working environment for our staff

  • Provide adequate space and a surface for bar setup, or notify us in advance if none is available

  • Ensure all guests consuming alcohol are 21 years of age or older

The content on jackandnikkibartendingco.com is for informational purposes only. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of our website or services at any time without notice.


GOVERNING LAW
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in Buncombe County, North Carolina.


CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
